WHO CAN ATTEND?
To ensure that the conference serves its intended audience, registration is limited to participants from academia, healthcare and patient organisations.
Please note that representatives of commercial companies are not eligible to attend. We reserve the right to cancel registrations that do not meet these participation criteria.

Payment
Participants from Sweden
Participants from Sweden can choose to pay either by credit card or invoice. Invoices will be sent as electronic invoices (e-faktura) when possible, or as PDF attachments via email.
Participants from outside Sweden
All payments must be made in SEK (Swedish Krona). Payments can be made via credit card or bank transfer (invoice). Bank transfer is available until 29 September 2026.
Invoice for bank transfer
Upon selecting this payment method, an invoice with bank transfer details (such as bank account number, IBAN, etc.) will be sent. The invoice is generated manually and is typically sent within a few days of registration.
The participant/payee is responsible for any bank charges or fees related to the payment.
Credit card payment
We accept the following credit cards: VISA and Mastercard.
For your security, our payment system is integrated with 3D Secure to protect online transactions. Your card must be enrolled in Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode. If you’re unsure whether your card is connected, please contact your bank for confirmation and guidance on how to enrol.
VAT information
According to Swedish and EU legislation, 25% Swedish VAT will be added to all registration fees. This is according to EU legislation and regulations for conferences and events (C-647/17, EU:C:2019:195, of 13 March 2019 and Article 53 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC of 28 November 2016). VAT is paid in the country where services are rendered, e.g. the country in which the conference takes place.
Exception: Swedish participants from governmental public sector organisations “statliga myndigheter” (e.g., universities, governmental agencies): No VAT will be added. In this case, you must choose Invoice (Swedish billing address only) as the payment mode and provide the VAT number of your employer.
For payment by credit card, VAT will always be charged, also for participants from “statliga myndigheter”.
Cancellation & refunds
Cancellations should be made in writing to the conference secretariat. A cancellation fee of SEK 750 will be charged for all cancellations.
For cancellations received no later than 9 October, the full registration fee will be refunded (or waived) minus the cancellation fee.
For cancellations made from 10 October onwards, no refund (or waiver) of the registration fee will be granted, and the full fee must be paid.
No refunds will be made for cancellation of individual meals or sub-events.
Substitution of participant
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to a colleague or substitute participant. Please contact the conference secretariat as soon as possible to arrange the change.
